William Andrus was born in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1969. He earned a B.A. in Art Studio from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, in 2002 and received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Kentucky in 2007. He has served as an instructor of Introductory Drawing at Centre College for the past three years and has recently completed a Lectureship at the University of Kentucky. He has had a number of solo exhibitions in Kentucky and Minnesota and has been in eight juried exhibitions in Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama and Arkansas. His work is in the collections of Centre College and Georgetown College as well as private collections in the United States and Great Britain.
